The Old Salt King of the Beach is one of the largest, richest and, certainly, most exciting king mackerel fishing tournaments in the United States. The 2025 Fall King of the Beach returns our home base in Madeira Beach, FL after moving inland last year following a devastating hurricane season. Special thanks to Pro Marine for working with Old Salt to provide a safe, dry venue for the 2024 Fall KING.

Single Engine
@King of the BeachSingle Engine Division
More anglers run single engines than any other configuration. Old Salt, Mastry Engine Center and Suzuki Repower created the Single Engine Division at the KING specifically for these competitors. The payoff? a 200HP Suzuki Outboard Repower Package for the winner of the division.
Ladies

Along with competing head to head, and sometimes arm in arm, with their male counterparts in the Overall & Single Engine divisions, our lady anglers have a division all to themselves. Winner of the division walks with cash & a one of a kind pendant from Johnston Jewelers.
Spanish Mackerel
@King of the BeachSpanish Mackerel Division
At the KING we give respect to Spanish Mackerel with its own division. So much so that on a pound for pound basis the winner of the division can walk with about $1,000 per pound for the Spanish they weighed.
