Daniel Murphy caught this 80lb.+ Wahoo his 1st time fishing in Cabo San Lucas. Daniel suffers from Autism, but has been fishing since he could hold a rod. The Captain of the vessel was very impressed by the fact that he wanted no help bringing it in.

Right after that awesome catch, the day couldn’t have been more blessed.  Daniel then hooked a 150lb. Striped Marlin! The marlin decided to not be boated, but again Daniel would except no help from the captain or the mate. This young man is a true old salt and has fishing in his blood.

Autistic children often have trouble communicating. Finding a tool or outlet to help these children is often difficult. Fishing has been a great outlet for Daniel and has helped him communicate with others now more than he ever has.
