The STOCK update … August 2015

It has been a very rainy July/ beginning of August,  but… we actually needed a cool down.  The Permit fishing has been really good offshore fish from 10-40 lbs.  The Snapper fishing also remains very good.  The big Goliath grouper are very cooperative for whomever is ready to tangle with a 100-400 lb monster.  The cobia fishing will really start getting better and better in the next couple of weeks.  Last September/October was on fire with nice cobia!  This cool down will also get the Gag grouper much more fired up out in the gulf.

Tarpon fishing has still been great as this weather stabilizes over this next week it will be game on again!  The tarpon were keyed in on the fry bait making epic explosions on the bait and great action!  Great video Sam Root put together …. Beach Tarpon Days with Jason Stock.

Also, the Redfish really fire off, the schools of fish are showing up more and more each day slot and over slot fish. The big Snook are on the flats and passes right now.    With many options always something fun to target in the next couple months.  Available dates in August and September  but I will be in Maine and Nova Scotia the end of September  targeting the giant blue fin tuna.

Epic Blackfin tuna bite this Spring …. check it out Tuna Fishing Gulf of Mexico
