If you’re looking for a fun and educational day out with the family, then check out the Kids Fishing Expo at the South Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier!

This event is perfect for kids – ages 6 to 15. From bait hooks to tying knots, this Expo will teach kids everything they need to become fishing savvy. The South Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier is the perfect place to learn how to fish, and the Kids Fishing Expo is the perfect place to start!

The Expo, originally scheduled for Saturday March 4, 2023 (NOW; SATURDAY APRIL 1, 2023) from 9am – noon on the South Sunshine Skyway Pier. – offers kids the opportunity to learn how to fish from the seasoned anglers.

The Expo is designed for kids of all ages. There will be learning stations set up for knot tying, line casting, games and just good ole fishing on the pier. We will have a slew of seasoned anglers on the pier at the Expo.

Don’t miss out on this fun event – it’s sure to be a hit with the whole family! The Kids Fishing Expo is brought to you by Old Salt Fishing Foundation, Skyway Misfits & Tampa Offshore Fishing.

NOTE: Each child participating in the Kids Fishing Expo must be registered separately  

  • In case of any accident or illness, or death during the activities regarding the event, I agree to release all employees and volunteers of Old Salt Fishing Foundation, Skyway Misfits and all other volunteers and organizations involved with the event from all liability for myself and above named child. Permission to Participate: My child (named above) has my permission to participate in Kids’ Fishing Expo and related activities on 04/01/2023.
  • THE KIDS FISHING EXPO PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE FORM
    I hereby grant the Old Salt Fishing Foundation permission to use the likeness of the child registered, on this form, in a photograph, video, or other digital media in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the Old Salt Fishing Foundation and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Old Salt Fishing Foundation to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the Old Salt Fishing Foundation from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization. I, THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF THE CHILD REGISTERED ON THIS FORM FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE KIDS FISHING EXPO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE PHOTO RELEASE. I AFFIRM THAT I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, I ACCEPT.
