Tis the season to be merry … fa la la la – and then the feeling of what to get the fisherman or woman in my life. Well, everyone loves a new rod and or reel combo – that’s a no brainer. If you are looking for some awesome off the wall kinda gifts to surprise them here are a few suggestions.
I love stockings. Making them can be as much fun as getting them. I find that its the unique little things that really make a great stocking. Here is a list of things you can get to add some character to yours. Fisherman stockings can be put together for as little as $10 but you can spend a small fortune on these too.
- Any artificial lures are great – from soft plastics to Top water lures they are great.
- Packaged hooks and sabikis – can never have to many
- Pliers – for some reason we all need more than one pair
- Yeti tumblers – one of the best cups in town (keeps it cold or hot)
- Buff or cover ups of any kind
- Gummy worms and/or fisherman’s cough drops add a little fun
