The Old Salt Fishing Foundation of Madeira Beach is proud to announce its
23rd Annual Old Salt and Bill Currie Ford Ladies Fishing Tournament,
August 11th & 13th, 2011 at Madeira Beach Municipal Marina.
Our Mission is to involve more women in the wonderful sport of fishing with a fun competitive atmosphere while raising awareness and support for the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation and All Children’s Hospital.
Ladies state wide will compete in one of the largest fishing events of its kind. While men can captain and mate the boat the angling is all up to the ladies. Species range from Redfish and Trout to Grouper and Amberjack, so whether you prefer inshore or offshore, your own boat or a chartered one this is a event anyone can take part in.
This Tournament has been held at Madeira Beach Municipal Marina for several years and 2011 we are proud to incorporate the grande re-opening and ribbon cutting of the Madeira Beach Marina Ship Store with our tournament. The marina has gone through several renovations over the years and the ship store is the newest addition. The 23rd Annual Ladies tournament also includes a fish-a-thon, captains party, silent auctions, arts and craft vendors and much more. Whether your fishing or spectating or just want to come out to support our great charities and have some fun this is a event for your whole family!
