If your a shallow water angler than the Johnny Kellar Inshore Fishing Tournament is for you. The entry fee is ONLY $25! This event is for everyone, whether your fishing from land, kayak, flats skiff or a larger center console its truly anyones game. Species include Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Redfish with a total cash purse of $3,500 makes this a competitive exciting day on the water. Proceeds from the Johnny Kellar Inshore Fishing Tournament benefits the All Children’s Hospital Hemophilia Fund. This event has raised over $75,000 donated in Johnny’s name.

The Captain’s Party will kick off the event … come out and register to fish, enjoy drink and food specials and of course a HUGE RAFFLE! Registration this year is still $25 for Old Salt Members (don’t forget to renew for 2012) and $35 for Non-Members. You can pre-register online here. We will go over all the rules including the change of species from Gag Grouper to Black Drum. The captain’s party is required for all anglers. The Daiquiri Deck is located at: 14995 Gulf Blvd., Madeira Beach.
Weigh-In
Sunday, January 29th • 3-4:00 pm
Bay Pines Marina
Fishing begins on Sunday at 6:30am and the weigh-in will start at 3pm. You must be in line with your fish (or photos) by 4:00pm – No Angler after that will be allowed to weigh-in. During the weigh in we will have drinks and food available. The awards and prizes will be held immediately following the weigh in. Bay Pines Marina is located at: 5000 – 92nd Street, St. Petersburg.
