OFFSHORE RULES & REGULATIONS
• This is a boat/team division.
• Point system will be based upon the type and weight of the fish, total calculated points will determine the winning boats.
• Each boat will be allowed to weigh up to (6) six fish for judging during the event.
• Fish selected and entered by the Captain at weigh in shall include a maximum of two (2) fish per species.
• Max 6 anglers per Offshore boat, including Captain.
• No rotten or mutilated fish will be accepted.
• All boats / teams must be in weigh-in line by 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at the Madeira Beach Ball Field, 200 Rex Place, Madeira Beach (NO EXCEPTIONS), Scales Open at 4pm.

INSHORE RULES & REGULATIONS
• This is a individual / angler division.
• Point system will be based upon the type and length or lbs. of the fish, total calculated points will determine the winning anglers.
• Each angler will be allowed to enter up to (6) six fish for judging during the event. (photo and weigh in).
• Maximum of two (2) fish per species.
• Anglers are responsible for providing their own digital photo equipment. (ONLY Digital Photos allowed)
• The tournament committee will not provide any special equipment to photograph with.
• All anglers submitting photos must also submit a form (supplied at weigh-in) along with digital card that requires: date, time of day caught, name of angler which caught the fish, species & the size in inches of the fish.
• Photo Release Specie: Pictures must be taken with nose of fish, excluding Tarpon, be facing left, flush against the tournament indicator. Pinched tails for Redfish and Trout. Picture needs to include the entire fish and clearly show the overall length.
• Tarpon catch photo must clearly show the fish or leader boat side with measuring board in photo.
• All photos turned in for judging will become the property of the tournament.
• All Anglers must be in weigh-in line by 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at the Madeira Beach Ball Field, 200 Rex Place, Madeira Beach
(NO EXCEPTIONS), Scales Open at 4pm.
General Rules (Inshore and Offshore):
• Boundaries: North, Cedar Key to South, Boca Grande Pass.
• Fishing begins at 12:01 am, Saturday, June 18th.
• Official tournament VHF channel is 68.
• All anglers / boats must be paid and registered prior to Saturday, June 18th, 2011. No refund of entry fees unless the tournament is canceled by the tournament committee.
• Hand held, hand crank rod and reels only. No modified electric reel or devices of any kind allowed.
• All fish caught in tournament must comply with State and Federal Laws. All boats participating in tournament must comply with U.S.C.G, State and Federal regulations and laws.
• The honor system applies throughout the entire tournament.
• Fish may be brought to weigh in by boat or car.
• Boats coming into the Madeira Beach must obey the NO WAKE ZONES.
• Old Salt Fishing Foundation and Cox Media / 102.5 The Bone encourages the live release of all fish not needed for the tournament.
• Two or more boats coming into physical contact during fishing hours in any manner will be disqualified.
• The rules may be changed through the Captain’s Meeting.
• Captain’s Meeting is mandatory for each angler/boat.
• This is a captain’s choice tournament. It is up to the discretion of the registered captain to determine whether his or her craft is seaworthy for existing sea conditions. Participants are encouraged to scan channel 16, in addition to the tournament channel (68) to keep abreast of any marine or weather warnings. The captain is responsible for all members of his/her crew both on and off the water.
• Any fish weighed-in containing lead or any foreign matter will be subject to disqualification as determined by the tournament weigh master.
• Winning anglers may be required to submit to and pass a polygraph test AND / OR allow Tournament Directors to view the boats GPS Tract of the day(s) in questions. Should the angler fail either tests, the tournament committee reserves the right to forfeit all winnings awarded to angler boat in question.
• Top youth angler eligible for the youth angler award must be 14 years or younger on the tournament date. Winning youth angler will be determined by the angler/boat registered as a youth with the highest pts.
• Top lady angler eligible for the lady angler award must be 15 years or older on the tournament date. Winning lady angler will be determined by the angler/boat registered as a lady with the highest pts.
• Top Father-Son, Daughter Team eligible for the Father-Son, Daughter award must be registered in division.
Offshore division team will be determined by the boat with the highest pts.
Inshore division determined by combined pts. of a max of two (2) anglers.
• All protests made to the tournament committee shall be accompanied by $500 cash. Protest must be presented no later than one hour after the last fish is weighed. The $500 cash deposit will be returned if the protest is upheld by the tournament committee. The $500 cash deposit will become the property of the Old Salt Fishing Foundation if the protest is not upheld. Decision of the tournament committee will be final.
• All Tournament Winners must be present at Tournament Awards to receive Winnings/Check.
Anyone Receiving a Check from this Tournament must complete a W-9 Form before check will be written.
(Minimum of One Team Member Authorized to Fill Out Paperwork and Receive Check Must Be Present Otherwise Check will be Forfeited)
• The decision of the tournament Directors, Committee and the Weigh master will be final.
