to support family interaction & camaraderie through fishing, science, conservation and education. Ultimately we focus on community efforts and provide financial support to various local nonprofit organizations.

Our Goals….

• to OFFER a highly competitive and exciting tournament schedule for fishermen of all
  skill levels, ages and fishing styles.
• to EDUCATE fishermen through our monthly meetings with informative speakers and
  interaction with other club members.
• to MAINTAIN only the highest standards of honesty, integrity and sportsmanship in  all that we do.
• to PROMOTE fishing the Gulf Coast open waters, Tampa Bay, and all Florida waters through  membership, outreach and advertising.
• to INFORM members and non-members alike of conservation, environmental and fishery
  management issues that we currently face or will ultimately face in the future.
• to SUPPORT and show appreciation to our sponsors for their generous contributions that assure the
  Old Salt’s existence.
